You know that now, but didn't in the information vacuum where editors on MSNBC were preparing commentary. Actually, I'm wrong, that commentary is probably already prepared waiting for a Liberal blood-dancing ritual to commence.

No one is ridiculing the victims. We are ridiculing the media and it is deserved.

All I got from this was a jab at the media guys, not seeing him making fun of victims.

First link in the OP says the kid had a sawed off 20 gauge. Are the parents about to be arrested for illegal NFA items?

I can saw a 26" barrel down to a 20" barrel and it be considered a "sawed off shotgun" yet be perfectly legal.

I doubt a 20" barrel fits in most 6th graders' backpacks.

Perhaps, but that wasn't your question. I was simply stating that a "sawed off shotgun" isn't necessarily an illegal NFA item.

But it would fit in many band instrument cases.

Odiee Carranza, an eighth grade student, told the Associated Pressa boy bumped into her as he rushed toward the gym and apologized to her. When the boy entered the gym, Carranza said she saw him pull a gun out of a band instrument case and begin shooting.

I can play quote the news article game too

The suspect allegedly packed a sawed-off .20 gauge shotgun in his backpack, walked through the front doors of the school and headed to the gym, where he opened fire.

We must pass new legislation to prevent adults from buying shotguns! That would have prevented this!
