Default AK variant- recoil buffer, xp recoil spring?

I'm curious to see peoples opinion on the AK variant rifle weather to use a recoil buffer, xp recoil spring, both, or leave factory.
Also comment if you want, if you think a specific brand needs something where another doesn't.
I.E. wasr 10 century needs a recoil buffer and xp recoil spring and arsenal doesn't need anything.

    leave factory
    recoil buffer
    xp recoil spring
    recoil buffer and spring

It is not needed and can make things worse. I would only considerate it only if after you have fired a couple hundred rounds and see signs that it is damaging the rear of the receiver or bolt carrier. The bolt carrier will normally stop short of the receiver until you stick a buffer in there for it to hit. This video is interesting concerning the question. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mu1_Wm7pqKo

I would leave it alone ,unless you are having problems.
A buffer is just a band aid fix for it not being built properly.
Most the time the gas port is drilled too big.I would have it fixed properly before installing a buffer and or heavier recoil spring.

i see the product out so i'm just wondering if its needed or if people just like to tinker with their weapons.

Gotcha,it's just people tinkering with the weapon to see if they can get more out of it.
It's just basically snake oil in my opinion.

leave it alone. Unless you're going to ar /magpul/tapco the fuk out of it. In that case please do not post any pictures. People want to put AR shit on something, there's a plethora of AR's out there waiting for modification. An AK is a stand alone, across time as is rifle.

yea i dont do much to my weapons.
i'd rather buy more then spend it on modifications.
thats why i'm looking for wood furniture in the WTB thread.
i'd like it to look more "original".

When It comes to Ak's The more you mess with them the less reliable they get. They dont need all the extra shit like AR's do.

Nice, that's what i like to hear.
i like to just buy guns and shoot them.
not have to do a bunch of stuff to make them shoot better.
