Must be a German thing....my 911 had a spare that was intentionally flat so it'd fit up front.
Nah. pretty much every make has done it over the years. Late sixties Chevy Camaro or Corvette was the first I saw it. Some people dont get spares at all. Bad plan in my mind.
no spares = plastic donut mounted to inside of the wheel run-flats, or stiff reinforced sidewalls. I'd prefer that so i can get away from a situation quickly
