Nope, never really believed in ghosts or hauntings after about 15. Ghost Hunters shows haven't helped to make me believe either. Kind of like alien visits, I'll need either personal experience or hard physical evidence before I start to believe.

I blessed my house once I got the toilets working. (Bought a foreclosure and had some renovation work to do ...)

It baffles me that we know that hallucinations can occur temporarily from something as simple as slight dehydration, yet still assume that momentary lapses in judgement or attention are proof positive of ghosts, religious spirits, ethereal beings, and all other sorts of imaginary distortions.

And I'm not talking about 'oh, there's a chicken riding a bicycle' LSD hallucinations. I mean stuff as simple as thinking you saw something on the counter, when you were really just tired and perceived one object as another. So maybe that "ghost" was you finishing a 10 hour day and misconstruing that glare from another vehicle as a spirit. Leaving the backdoor open can create a draft that will push a cabinet closed. If the kids jump off the couch in the other room, it can send a wave through the floor into the kitchen and knock over your empty cup. Physics is as miniscule as it cosmic, so...yeah.

Drugs are very harmful to the human body. You should all stop your recreational drug use.

No use here, and was not drinking at the time. My first thought was the light switch was 1/2 way up, but it seems the light will only turn on in the upward position, so 1/2 way up will not turn it on...It's just weird, but please lay off the drug use comments, especially on this type of forum.
    Thanks,
    R

2 things. First I was kidding about the drug use. The vast majority of responsible gun owners live above the influence of any drugs. Secondly, I will make whatever comments I feel like making as long as they don't violate forum protocols. That is regardless of the "type" of forum I'm on.

Fine, I will remember that next time you post.

I blessed my house 1st night in. The dog ran in front of me and I spilled my beer all over the carpet. It was OK the dogs licked it up. Other than that, no.

    My sister's house:Yes
A neighbor informed my sister that the previous owner tried to OD. My sister was freaked out, so she had it blessed twice.
