Spent today on the Drop Zone breaking in some new AMLOs and a couple friends. It is always funner to be flying than on the ground, but I did get some good videos of us playing on the dirt runway.

That is really cool! Man the pilot sure set the plane right down. I was expecting a soft gradual landing, but nope bite your lip and give it hell I guess.

The landing zone on an assault landing is only 500 feet long. You cross that in about 2-2.5 seconds so there isn't a lot of time for a nice soft landing.
