I was a big fan of the Nebo light that charges in the cigarette lighter in your car as it is very tiny and perfect for pocket carry and most of the light needs I require from day to day. However, when I run I like the powerful throw of 200+ lumens. I feel like the Nebo sized Fenix offerings will be a good compromise. I bought my dad an LD22 for Christmas and really like that one as well.

I've had an LD10 in-pocket for around six years now. The scalloped bezel wears out my pockets but I could not be happier with the actual light.

I used a pair of pliers to remove the pocket clip the day I bought it, that's been in the landfill for years.

I've had my L2D for almost 7 years now and it's getting ready to finally die. Guess I'm in the market for a new Fenix

If you haven't looked lately, check out the surefire fury p2x. This is my favorite, go to light, and is right around $100

New parts (tailcap, bulb, etc) are something like $3.

I have one of their cree bulb assemblies and a clicky tailcap on an old Surefire 6P. The led upped the battery life and burns brighter than the old 60 lamp and the tailcap works great. Definitely brought new life to my old surefire, it now sits in my wildland pack at the firehouse.

I've got three of them with cree bulbs that have treated me very well. Highly recommend solarforce lights.

This thread just made me realize a flashlight is not a part of my EDC. Can't believe I overlooked this.

Ordered a LD10. Mostly because I want a good flashlight (most of you have carried yours for years and years and that is good enough for me) that does not use an obscure battery.
