I'm not a big podcast person. I want to be able to read it, and possibly save some of the info into a word doc for later perusal. But having a thread for this sort of info, especially specific to Colorado, could be very useful. So I vote yes. Like I said in the other thread, I don't want a million off subject threads, but this one does fit fairly well and could be very useful. We have a job openings sticky, for heaven's sake.

I voted yes, because too much info is better than too little. I'm a middle-of-the-road kinda guy on this matter. I like being prepared, but I'm not digging a bomb shelter into the side of a hill in the mountains either. Having a couple of containers of stuff to grab on the way out of the area is far from a bad idea. Then again getting 6 heavily armed friends and just taking over the local wal-mart and turning it into a base camp isn't a bad idea either.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.

    Sure...why not?

We got very close to buggin' out back in 02 during a fire. Had all the important stuff in the trailer, trailer hooked up and the truck was running. One of the P3 bombers made a couple of passes so close over the house that we were covered in fire retardant. That type of info could come in handy during a disaster type situation.

Here's a very good website with lots or real-world, practical advice: http://www.theplacewithnoname.com/blogs/klessons/
