Blemished Lowers ???

I have never seen and compared one to that isn't blemished....but is it just that they have visual imperfections such as scratches, nicks, etc or do some have holes that are not lined up for any pins???.......I've seen some Aero Precision blemished lowers for around $65 and some Anderson blemished lowers for around $42.....Is a blemished lower worth it or spend like an extra $50 for a Spikes lower or one from another manufacturer that isn't blemished?

if cosmetics are not a problem for you, buy one, or 2. Unless you're building a safe queen. Most of the blems i looked at were minor imperfections with finish.

If you look hard enough on none blem lowers you can usually find imperfections. I recently purchased a blem from PSA and could not find anything. YMMV.

If it's from a reputable manufacturer, it'll be cosmetic. I've seen some lowers that were simply just out of spec though. I wouldn't have an issue buying a PSA or Anderson blem lower.

If it is not a reputable manufacturer it may well be out of spec even if not marked as blemished...

Indeed. I won't touch an R Guns lower for that reason.

I don't buy anything except blemished lowers now. Most of the time you have to really search for the blemish. Blemished should still be in-spec

Most of the time, the manufacturer specifically says that they are cosmetic blems only. I also only buy blem lowers, mostly from PSA.

Aero makes spikes lowers. Spikes also sell their blem lowers for $65 when they available

My Noveske lower is a "chainsaw", which from what I understand is a "blem". While I've not sat and totally examined it with a "fine tooth comb" there is nothing glaring that I can see and as they state its cosmetic so I've had zero issues with mine...
