    Default Truck got keyed!

So I just noticed my pickup got keyed, it's fairly minor damage, but that's not the point . does anyone have any tricks to "buff" it out? Fortunately they didn't do a very good job, and it's not real deep. I may not have the nicest or most expensive truck, but I work hard for my stuff, and it sucks knowing it's not safe in my neighborhood.

That blows! Just last week some asshat hit my truck and creased in the wheel well. Just drove off and I found the damage the next day. I'm not even sure if it's repairable or if I have to replace the body panel. 😡

Sorry to derail. I'm sure an auto detailer could make quick work of buffing those out and not rape you too badly. Time to get your Taco into the garage!

Those majority of scratch doctor and their variants (other brands) on Auto section at Walmart does work.
I think that scratch is fairly deep, but most likely it will most likely restore almost all of it.

Damn that blows! Sorry to hear that. Wish I could garage the Taco, unfortunately my wife gets the garage and we are in an apartment.

I'm also going to retract my "not having the nicest truck" statement. It is probably one of the nicest first gen 4 doors, that's what makes it suck worse.

I usually do not recommend anything at "harbor fraught", but i bought these for the same problem a while back and it worked great

The polisher made all the difference between hiding the scratch and making them disappear.

People who screw with other people's property should be kicked in the crotch. Repeatedly.

Hard to tell from the picture but it doesn't look too horrible. Maybe it will buff out. Heck, you could even try a little rubbing compound on a rag and see if it comes out to your satisfaction.

I'm pretty sure mine has been keyed as well. Either that or scratches from trails.
