    Night hike I did

Decided to go up the side of a mountain in Silverthorne. You can see Lake Dillon way out there.

Was that the Lilly Pad Lake trail? That's a great little hike.

The night hike was Lilly Pad, day hike was Buffalo Cabin. Both great ones!

Got up Mount Yale (14,169 ft) on Saturday and skied down. Went solo and didn't see a single person on the mountain the entire day. Pretty incredible for a trail head that you can drive to with a Fiat.

Hope you were using your rock skies. Doesn't look like much snow up there for this time of year, I'm surprised.

Back country skis are always rock skis!

If you look at the first photo - I was able to ski off the summit to the right (North -> North East) then swing around on continuous snow to the South East for about 1000 vertical or so. Then it was a mix of snow fields, rock fields, snow fields, down to tree line. From tree line to Cotton Wood pass it was mostly snow with some dirt, rocks, and several stream crossings which mean wet boots.

What are you pointing at in the first picture?
"There are no finger prints under water."

The camel. They're still new and exciting to me, growing up in Co I didn't see them much. We saw them everywhere on this trip and even came close to hitting them a few times.
