Default Where are the handgun guys?

I am going to Nebraska again this year for white tail and turkey, but I'm taking the 44 this year. Might even try a Wyoming speed goat. What's your best shot and favorite gun?

Took 2 white-tails growing up in Wis with a Ruger Super Redhawk 44mag. First one was about 30 yrds, second I took a reach at 50. Both open sights. Good ol days!

30-06 Lone Eagle by Magnum Research, back when their guns were made my IMI in Israel.

    Best shot or most memorable?
Best shot hunting... Muley 2 years ago.... 175 yards
Best shot ever... The look on people's face when they shoot it!
It's about the same recoil as a 44 mag

I've also taken an elk in Colorado with a shotgun and slug @ 75 yards. That was interesting.

I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Those were awesome. I remember a buddy had one. We were shooting it at dusk as the sun was going down. It threw a fireball out the muzzle about the size of a Volkswagen bus.

Took a couple of whitetail in river bottoms in Nebraska about a decade back with a Ruger Redhawk in .41 Magnum. Great fun.

I have been working on 44 mag loads, lots of fun! I bought a Ruger SBH hunter a couple weeks ago, beautiful gun but the bisley trigger guard does not fit me I may have to sell or trade it for a 5" gun with normal grip and trigger guard. Mine has the rounded guard not square but it whacks my dang knuckle constantly.

    Elk @ 80 yards with a 10mm 1911. Pronghorn @ 105 with a .40 Super 1911. Several deer with the 10mm .41 Mag, and .414 SuperMag. Really enjoy handgun hunting.

If you like the gun otherwise, you can always just swap out the grip frame for something more to your liking.

I need to look into that, depending on the price.
