    Not sure I see the humor here. People died, lost their homes and possessions to tornados this weekend and it's not over in that part of the country. Thats not amusing to me.

    Am I missing something?

    That the Weather Channel has gone from being a reliable source of important atmospheric phenomena to being just another fear mongering broadcast.

    Fear mongering broadcast? Warning people about severe tornado activity is fear mongering? Ever been close to a touch-down of a tornado? THAT is fear!

    Warning that 75 million people are in imminent risk of death is stupid. Saying "watch this video that shows people probably being killed" is stupid. The image I posted on the previous page was a parody. This was what was actually on their website (not far off):
