I had two of their SHD-15 Billet Lowers on order for just at a year. I finally started raising cain and finally got a hold of the owner. They did upgrade to 'custom' meaning engraving, cerokote, forged to billet on account of the wait. After a few more weeks I finally had two lowers in my hands, everything looked fine.... and got home to find both of the magwells were tight, one of them real tight. I don't mean new tight. I mean need a hammer to get it in tight. I took it over to Bowers and they confirmed I was not missing something easy. I called the owner back and to be fair there was no arguments, they just took care of it. So after two trips from Aurora to Longmont, a year of waiting (+ bitching time), + a lot of calls..... I have two billet lowers. There is a lot more to this story but the end result is these guys are not bad guys. I don't think they are trying to rip anybody off, they are just not business men. This is a bunch of guys who love guns, have big dreams and promised the world. Delivery.... Well, you have seen the results.

The impression I got from the place was that the employees were a great bunch of guys trying to make a big splash in the industry but it seems someone higher up the ladder (maybe some sort of financial backer or business manager?) pretty much had their hands tied.

Pretty sure most of those employees left to open their own shop.

I had a lower on order with them for a year... Paid for... So they had my money for a year. Never responded to emails, couldn't get anyone on the phone. Finally went to the credit card company to get my money back.

I've been waiting for a replacement bolt and firing pin for 7 month. The last time I spoke with them they told me it was sitting in there shipping department waiting to ship. That was 4 months ago.👎

I ran into the same thing with 303 Arms. Bought some stuff and now can't get them on the phone or to even call me back. Also haven't seen them at the last couple gun shows.

FWIW: S/OPS was still operating with the same crew last year. So IMO there's equal fault all around. The old crew did treat me right when i was there.
