Hey now, why use reason and common sense when you could just stereotype an entire group of people based on one persons actions. And then blame the violence on an inanimate object, guns, video games, music etc.

Those tactics are on the first page of the liberal gun control handbook.

I listen to rap music regularly but you'd be a fool to try to say as a lifestyle hip-hop & rap doesn't glamorize crime. I also don't see this sort of thing happening at a Sarah Mclaughlin performance at Red Rocks.

    Its entertainment.

Just like Sarah McLaughlin, country, metal, screamo, and what ever other music trends are out there. Some people just cant accept it for what it is, entertainment.

The only reason this is news is because he used an "assault rifle" to commit his crime. If he had stabbed 3 people with a box of #2 pencils this would be on page 3.

You'd also be a fool to live your lifestyle based on the music you listen to. I'm willing to bet, most of the people listening to rap music aren't gang banging. Just like I'm willing to bet the majority of people that listen to country don't know the first thing about living in the country.

What did this "search" amount to anyway?

Looking at IDs, shining flashlight into the car, asking if you saw anything suspicious? What else could they do without a specific warrant?

Yup, I listen to country and rap (and pretty much everything else), but I bet anyone who has met me, wouldn't peg me for either genre.

They were saying on the radio this morning that every car was searched. Stating many people didn't leave till after 4:00am.

be interesting how the legally owned firearms were handled, if in fact, they were searched.

    Proverbs 22:24-25(DRA)

24 Be not a friend to an angry man, and do not walk with a furious man:
25 Lest perhaps thou learn his ways, and take scandal to thy soul.
I'll stick with the Blues for my entertainment.
There were no arrests at last week's Tab Benoit concert at Stargazers.
Come to think of it, no issues when seeing Keb' Mo', Buddy Guy, or even Kenny Wayne Shepherd last year.

    To each there own.
