How could they have probable cause to actually "search" every car leaving the venue?

I have no problems with them doing a quick ID check and asking for witnesses , and doing a plain view flashlight assessment to see if somebody is hiding behind your backseat under that old blanket.

Who says that I do? That doesn't mean that LOTS of people do though. Crime happens at hip-hop/rap concerts at a much higher rate than those like I mentioned or similar and this is why I don't attend them just like I don't walk down dark alleys in bad parts of Detroit. The lifestyle that surrounds each music type is what it is and you can't glorify crime for decades and not expect there to be more crime at the concerts where said music is performed. That's just life.

Hopefully that gets properly addressed in court. Using some specific new technologies, such as the active tracking beacon, should decrease the infringement of innocent's rights, not increase it.

Just saw a report that said that the SUV targeted was carrying performer Schoolboy Q, who was a former gang member. He was not injured.

What are you trying to insinuate? That had nothing to do with the shooting. [in my best sacastic voice]

I'm well aware Jer, that you do not live the life style of a gang banger, you are vocal enough on the forums for me to see that.

Now let's not get off track, and twist the discussion into something it never was. I never said crime cannot be associated with rap music, in fact I'd go as far to say rap probably has the closest connection to crime out of any genre. My argument is against the comment making a blanket statement against everyone that listens to rap music.

For every one person that listens to rap and gang bangs, there are probably ten who do not gang bang (this is just a random number to be used as an example).

I'll say it sounds gang related... That sort of gang typically listens to rap, not a stereotype, just truth. Similar to the Sons of Silence I saw at David Allen Coe years back. Urban youth gangs comprise a very large majority of those with a propensity for violence. More stabbings and shootings occur in vicinity to rap/hip hop shows than any other type of concert. It is what it is. Aside from just not liking the music, the folks in attendance and their attitude is why I choose not to attend these events.

Damn, just now hearing about this. My buddies wife hit me up yesterday AM asking if I wanted to buy her ticket because she had too much school work to go. Her husband and 3 of my other close friends were going. I declined because I don't like the hippity hop. Gonna call one and see how it was.
