I just wanted to be able to store a couple of handguns conveniently in this location without buying a new electronic safe. This is right next to my desk in my office already. Before I moved here it had junk gun parts, but I store them elsewhere now. It was a bit bigger than I expected, but extremely sturdy with a modification I made behind the visible area.

It's a Mueller APV, not very expensive and works great on 22lr rifles.
