None of the pictures I've found of factory internals show anything like what I have, or what is in this picture.
I found where this pic came from, and the top one is the factory rod, but I didn't see any mention of this bushing. And like I just mentioned in my previous post, I just pulled a new one apart at Sportsmans and no metal bushing.
Also... IMHO the Sig is junk, plastic guide rod, cheap springs, pot metal, etc. Can't imagine they have a finely machined and blued piece of quality steel riding on a plastic guide rod... but I'm prepared to be wrong.
The damn thing does fit perfectly on the rod. I shot it again after cleaning it and it seemed to function as before.
I spent 20 min looking to see what hit the ground , while cleaning an AR. All the parts n pcs where there, BUT SOMETHING hit the ground. ............Cleaning rod tip

If everything is where it belongs shoot it. .

My OCD will not allow that.
Somebody has gotta have a Sig 22 that can at least verify that it does or doesn't belong to it, maybe the one I took apart today has different guts.
    This sucks!

Don't own a sig 1911-22, but looking at this picture, I'd say your black ring is the silver ring on the recoil rod.

Damn... that's two pictures with something similar.
Unfortunately nothing in any of the "official" Sig propaganda or diagrams.
Anybody want to crack open their Sig 22 and confirm? Like I said earlier, I opened one up at Sportsmans today and it was not in there.

Just because it's not pictured, doesn't mean it doesn't belong. The part may be omitted from the sig pic because it's not offered, individually.

With these dissemble videos along with the pictures above it sure looks like it fits on your guide rod.
