OK here's the deal, most quadraplegics have suffered a spinal cord injury. 90% of the time the injury to the spinal cord occurs from C1-C8, that is the neck area of the spinal cord. Quadraplegia means he has very little control of his arms and legs, he can barely move his arms and usually can't use his legs at all. He also usually can NOT look down! Why? Because he had a broken neck at some time. I used to hang out with a Vietnam vet who was a quadraplegic, so I sorta know what it is like.
