The rig is finally complete. Used magpul flat dark earth Duracoat. It didn't match the magpul butt stock so it got a coat to. Seems to be holding up pretty good, except at the shell deflector, but I think that that can be expected.

I had too much FDE on this one so did a little reconfiguring and ended up here. The empty 300 Blackout cases are hell on the shell deflector. I may take some sort of black Teflon piece and epoxy it on the shell deflector.

    Bump!

Here is a recent DPMS that a board member did. You give him a laundry bag and a couple spray cans... and he is all picasso! Not bad at all!

Looks like your Picasso masterpiece needed to dry before handling it. I'll take it for $200

Just duracoated. Technically coyote tan but close enough. Too colorful to be in the evil black rifle thread.

Ultralight all metal, fully keymod railed 16" ar-15. It runs flawlessly... a tad over 5lbs. The strikes comp really helps w/ the recoil. I was expecting much harder recoil like the other light builds.

Just take a piece of the loop side of some Velcro and put it on your deflector. It lasts a LONG time and is easy to replace if needed. All mine wear this stylish accessory and it works like a champ.

    NICE!

Wondered what happened to all that.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"
