I've been thinking about this. Let's say a full blown outbreak occurs and you decide to just ride it out inside your place for as long as you can (I think a lot of utilities will still be operational, hopefully). About how long would be a good time to self quarantine?Originally Posted by Kraven251

That has always been the definition according to the CDC...they just made sure not to publicize it. That description of "contact" has been on their website for years.
This particular Dallas hospital has now closed their ER. They are sending new patients elsewhere. So two ebola cases effectively closed an ER. Like I theorized before, hospitals in this country will cease to function properly if there are too many ebola cases in one area.
I would stay in my home for 30 days after the last known local case, at a minimum.

The Boston article says the guy w possible symptoms was recently in Liberia. Fucking shutt down travel from the place. Other countries have, why the fuck won't the US. Fuggin stupid if you ask me.
