It's amazing that cat sat there in the light - must have something wrong with him. They say that if you spend any time in the forest that you have been seen by several cats, but you will probably never see one, ever.
Spent a lot of my 20's in the mountains... never saw one. In my 30's I was traveling in the National Forest and I met an old friend who was also a DOW officer on a forest road. He asked me if I just saw a Cougar. I said no and we got in his truck to show me where it was. I passed it and never saw it.
Since then I have been shown where to look and I see Cougars almost every time I visit the forests... it was almost better before when I was ignorant.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Through an IndieGoGo campaign, they raised over $3,000 to create a billboard message that is sure to stir up some ire, reading “#PantsUPDontLOOT.” Here’s a digital mock-up of the billboard:
The group’s members have found businesses that will both create the billboard for them and display it. They will use their $3,081 in funds to keep it posted for as long as possible, according to Mediate.
