I think I'm home

Hey all, new to AR's but not to guns. I own two shotguns, a browning gold hunter for hunting and a Winchester 1300 I turned into a home defense toy thingy. I also own a Browning 30-06, a ruger 10-22, a Steyr M95 and two hand guns, a Springfield Xdm and a Beretta px4. I have wanted an AR-15 for a long time and was able to finally pick one up on black Friday, still have to figure out how to tell the wife though. So far I'm having a blast accesorizing it but sadly I still need to get out and shoot it. That is something I'm working on for the next weekend or two but it's been hard getting out due to the newborn that's now lingering the halls. Well I hope to meet some fellow AR shooters down the road that just enjoy sending some lead down range. Nice to meet you all.

All I have to say is that there is NOT a Dan Wesson .357mag in the drawer of my desk at work ... and yes the ACOG on my AR is a "Chinese knockoff" that only cost $100
