I tried to do this nicely.

I've seen the episode. But I do not appreciate un-alerted spoilers. I also believe there are members here who think that other members here will have the decency and respect to not post spoilers. Sometimes life happens and we can't catch the episode right away. Some of us don't have DVR's either. What we do have is an apparently misplaced belief that folks here don't suck.

The Great-Kazoo posted his spoiler alert properly -giving folks a chance to avoid the info.

Like I said, I've seen the episode so you're not spoiling anything for me, but out of respect for our other members you are creating work for me. Give it a few days, then discuss details. Until then, anyone posting spoilers here without a decent SPOILER ALERT gets some time away to see how badly I hate cleaning up after selfish people. Oh, and SPOILER ALERT: it won't be less than 2 weeks.

I saw a website before that had a spoiler font that posted the enclosed text in a solid black line that, when you clicked on the line, would reveal the text. I wonder if such a font feature is feasible here. Of course, people would have to remember to use it (and not abuse it).

Otherwise yeah, I assume that if I haven't watched the latest episodes yet, it's naturally unsafe to visit this thread.

Why not just put "***Spoilers***" in the thread title? That gives fair warning to all and saves Ginsue any extra work.

It doesn't matter if you put SPOILER ALERT or
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED IN TONIGHT'S SHOW

in the title or in the message. SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE WILL BITCH. In this case a MOD took some action & warning without anyone getting a T/O, Yet.

True Story:

You know, I once bought a coffee at Mcdonalds and spilled it on my lap. It really hurt and I was very angry. I had no idea that when I was buying a coffee the contents would be hot.

Apparently other people did that too cuz, now there is a warning on the lids that the contents are hot. Now I don't spill my coffee in my lap anymore.

Put a spoiler tag in the subject line of the thread and be done. I recorded the entire series during AMCs marathan and finally decided to watch it right before season five started. This entire thread was a spoiler, but I knew enough to not click into a discussion board before watching it. I wanted to look at this thread to see what people thought about last night not to read about why it is a crime to write about what happened last night.
