Yep. I ended up pluggin my old router into the comcast gateway to get my speeds back. Comcast wanted you to change it out so they could operate their "Xfinity Anywhere" wifi signal on your cable. They CLAIM this doesn't affect speeds or limit your connection, but I'm skeptical, as there is only a limited amount of bandwidth to begin with, and they are allocating a portion of it to their open wifi network. Of course, you get to pay for the electricity to run it as well. My informal tests using 3 different laptops shows a 30-40% drop in throughput using their wifi gateway versus my 802.11n router.
