Happy Thanksgiving y'all! As you ponder your life eating turkey and are driving all over our beautiful country, please remember the Appleseed project coming up in March at my school. Maybe this is a crazy thought, but could COAR15 make a collective donation and officially "sponsor" Project Appleseed? Might be a good way to get some good press with the community for our site. Maybe it's not appropriate, but it might be worth talking about.

Interesting idea, but you'll need to give me some more specifics... You just talking about a big banner we can hang on the berm for the TV interviews or....? Honey Badger, still waiting on your ideas. There will be news crews etc there like last year so it could be good for the community, but I'd need some more details.
Also, everyone else: As the Christmas season comes upon us, please remember that I could use donations both in ammo (.22lr only) and in money to help pay for it all.

Sorry Bear, I really don't have any grand ideas. I was hoping one of the admins would chime in to endorse or deny. I was thinking that a bunch of forums members would help set up, help with safety, help with equipment, and generally help fund it and then we could maybe have a big "Colorado AR-15 Club" banner made to hang up. Try to get some good publicity for the club and forum.

The more volunteers, the better, the safer, the more varied firearms the kids would be exposed too even though this is traditionally only a .22lr thing. Last year we did have a fellow bring out a AR and a M1.
