    Default Falling State by State...

Looks like they got the signatures in NV. No way NRA or any group will be able to match the Bloomberg spending on the anti-gun push. This looks to be getting bad in the next couple of years. Not really too much new but kind of encapsulates things.

The exact response they want you to have to the article... Throw in the towel, it's over. Stop fighting. Pack up and quit. etc. etc. It could just be part of the "disinformation package" of the media. Need other sources, preferably trusted sources in the local areas, to share the truth.

One of the biggest lies in American politics is that money always wins in elections ... Bloomberg outspent the Morse and Giron recall folk by a factor of 8 to 1 and still lost and lost big.

Never said I was throwing in the towel, where did you get that? Fact is you can sway the uninformed voters with bad information by outspending and emotions. Sure we got the recalls and sent a message but the D's got back into those seats. We got the State Senate by the a slim margin. I know you all have read about the spending in WA. This is very similar to the anti hunting ballot initiatives in various States.

"Their approach is to go into states where it's easy to pass something and claim national momentum," NRA spokesman Andrew Arulanandam said of Bloomberg's group.
I think that about sums it up. Bloomberg hasn't really been that successful with his anti-gun crusade though he has had some victories. The problem is he doesn't really care how much his losses or his victories cost because he pretty much has unlimited financial resources compared to the groups that try to fight him.

It seems to me that USA Today article was trying to put a really positive spin on the successes of gun control...which have been pretty few and far between for the past several years. There have been many more victories for the anti gun-control advocates across the country but you won't see USA Today or other media outlets covering them.

And gun sales are another measure of what voters want.

The title of this thread is rather doom-and-gloomish.
