why didn't you just clone your partition to it?

Because it's only 240Gb, and my original OS drive, with all the programs and whatnot, was closer to 600Gb. I've turned that drive into one to install games and other items on.

Even for the $99/yr, it is absolutely worth it for some people. We use it for free movies and music all the time, as well as the free 2-day shipping. It's really nice to get free 2 day shipping on that one little $5 widget that you need to replace and can't find at the hardware store. If you're like me, you'll just save the trip to the hardware store and order it from amazon first. Save time and gas money and get it 2 days later. (And often you get a better price online, anyway)

I browsed the prime area today. For what one gets, IMO it's a crap shoot . You're limited to 1 book a month ! I download 2 - 3 books a day from free web site links. Movie wise, it still cost $$. each their own.

I had two identical 1Tb hard drives, and one was for backups. I don't see the point in creating multiple partitions on the same disk drive, at least for a gaming rig.

We use my prime account for our business, and we have saved more than $5K in shipping costs this year alone.
