I, in my own thinking, no matter how much money you offer, if it is something that goes against my principles, I am not doing it. Maybe I am part of a minority.

Celebrities do dumb things, a lot of people do dumb things, look at popularity of Reality TV for example. They look like fools, they make money, and people like to watch other people do dumb things and be stupid. Why I have don't 99% of Reality TV show, other than the "Project" shows like Tree house masters.

With Chris, while I dont know the man, he is first and foremost a "Teacher/Instructor" he is supposed to be respected. This Tactical Catwalk thing is funny to watch, YES, and people are being overly critical of him? YES.

I believe he can do what he wants, but to me if I had any respect for him in the past, it is gone now and feel he just looks like a "BIG fool" in front of those he is supposed to inspire and teach. All for money.

    BTW I need more coffee..............
You are looking at it from a rational standpoint. I'm mainly talking about the folks that are just straight up talking crap about the guy/video. I guess my thoughts on a thread on one of the other forums I frequent, have bled over into this one.

    You are totally right.

First and foremost from the beginning of the thread it was all about the LAUGHS!

I was laughing so hard.............I wanted to share. Somehow we got off on an $$$ ethical discussion I guess.

You are right about the comments going around the web and oh my god! People are downright cruel and nasty. Like Chris killed their dog and raped their cat.

In the end it is just, funny to watch him make a fool of himself.

I'll have to admit...that I learned a lot about the tactical use of the AR-15, by watching Magpul's DVD's "Art of the Tactical Carbine" Vol #1 and #2 --- with Haley & Costa as instructors --- and I thank them both for it; though I much prefer doing Costa's tactical moves on a soft grassy surface than on the hard concrete firing pad we have at our range.

That was back before they both left to do their own thing each and I think the $$$ changed their ways.

Wow, that was a long time ago too.

If Skully made $200/hr, there would probably be 20 pages worth of good deals on this board.

Costa taught me some more "radical grips" {support thumb over bore & pointed toward the target} that helped me control recoil much better on my tactical carbines.

Shooting is an art form...and Costa is an expert in showing-off his moves --- More power to him --- nothing shameful about putting bullets on target quickly and efficiently as he does.

True.......I could afford more toys, and so in turn get bored of them, selling them off.

Although I wouldn't need to sell my stuff as I would be able to afford my Crack habit.

You got admit though, I have gotten better the last 4-5 months. I am now not as bad as FattyHunter or Ray, so I feel much better about myself in my own mind.

............how about strutting your stuff on the catwalk showing off in his designer pants. He still looked like a fool and I had a good laugh.

Since the $$$ thing keeps popping up, I wonder HOW much the magazine paid him to show up to do the show and "model" for the press?

Only Costa can wear those designer pants --- I can't --- though I believe the Japanese love the warrior mentality; because I'm seeing a large influx of oriental shooters showing up at our AGC at Marriottsville range.
