I don't need a 30 Cal can right now, but this peaks my interest. Will be watching this product going forward. Looks like good performance vs weight if the numbers workout as advertised.

I was thinking that too, but the Saker is actually stronger and rated for shorter barrels. Since I intend to put it on an SBR SCAR 17 the omega is a no go.

How short is your bbl? I thought long and hard about the Omega and saker but I don't have plans to suppress anything with this can shorter shorter than a 10.5" bbl. My 9mm AR with a 5.5" bbl with be suppressed for the short stuff. Ordered mine today.

The SCAR 17S is my only worry, it's short barrel is 13" and the Omega is only good down to 16". The Omega is good down to 10" on 5.56, which is fine for most and I don't plan anything under 16" for 5.56 myself.

I am probably going to wait for silencershop to do a direct comparison video before I commit to either though. I like the fact that the Omega is overall a little more effective, I might trade the ability to suppress .308 SBR if it's more effective on everything else.

So how would this fare on a C39 pistol with a SB-47?

I would still have gotten my saker... Now I'm debating between this and the harvester.
