He's also released another update since then, which "got approved without problems." Other developers haven't had the same success pushing back against Apple, however. Since the regulation only applies to promotional material rather than actual in-game stuff, it's much easier for developers to change the icons or screenshots for their game than appeal Apple's rejection—a process that could preclude a game from receiving valuable updates."

    I wonder if this is a company-wide policy or an Employee With A Cause. Given my dislike for Apple, I'll go with the former.

    Me too and I'm so glad I went with Droid (almost) a year ago. I'm freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I had the iDrone since day one and was brainwashed. No more - I'm cured.

    For PCs...never had a Mac. Couldn't ever afford one, so I have no opinion.
