It has been about 15 years since I played, too.
I would be up for getting back into it, but I'll be damned if I go play on one of those open fields with obstacles. My friends and I used to play 5v5 in dense woods with full camo. Some matches would go upwards of 5 hours. Only way to play in my opinion.

I'd be in too, though it's been some time since I've played woods ball. My shtick is airball.

Instead of a new thread I though I'd revive an old one. My son, who is 8, was just asking about paintball. I know he's got a couple of years the he can play at any of the local fields but now I want to go play again. Anyone playing on a semi regular basis?
I would be interested in playing.

I'm going to organize a regular PB game this coming summer. Some sort of woods ball, not at a course. We will organize people to come meet and play in the woods, camo welcome.
If anyone has extra gear (markers, paint, CO2, nitrogen, masks) and is willing to share, I'm sure we could get more players willing to pay for the equipment, gas, paint and wear/tear and make the games more fun.
Mostly a gentleman's game, but a chrono will be available if anything is questionable about speed. 300fps max, self enforced, if unsure, chrono your marker.
I'm thinking rampart range, good central spot. One match per month organized, but people can meet up more often if they desire,
Sound good to everyone?

Oh I haven't played PB in ages - that would be a good way to get some of us together.
