For the 2012 one, Y2K let me down.
I'm still eating up the institutional size cans of refried beans I hoarded for that one.
And yes I am definitely full of it.

Be sure to ground your Faraday cages with at least two 8 ft. X 5/8 in. grounding rods & #6 solid bare copper wire.

And when lined and grounded work just fine. You want to line the can so nothing touches the sides. Some of my items are semi protected and some are very well protected. A well grounded aluminum shed makes a great cage. And I own a Dodge 12v....
