I doubt that is the same response I would have recieved from you on
September 12, 2001. I also believe that the naval bases, army base, and norad do have the propoganda value that you speak of. Maby I should not have said terrorists maby armies from forign countries would be more appropriate. If civilians off the streets in the middle east could plan the attacks of the twin towers on september 11, 2001 that makes me wonder what their government can plan, what the chinese can plan " Pearl Harbor", or any other country with an army large or small.
Yes, that makes some sense. If NK or Iran attacks us, they might find it advantageous to take out NORAD. Of course they'll hit Cheyenne Mountain not realizing that the real work goes on out at Peterson
On a side thought, should Mexico fall to the cartels and become a rogue narcostate, THEY might be more interested in shutting down NORAD.
I've always rejected the idea that the 9/11 attacks were some sort of super complex, well planned, "genius" attack. Its just a bunch of guys that attended flight school, bought plane tickets and box cutters and synchronized their watches. I know plenty of Jr High kids that can wargame more complex (and tactically effective) plots. I don't say that to minimize the tragedy of the day, but the plot just wasn't that complex (besides, Tom Clancey, Thomas Harris and I think a couple other thriller authors already did the hard lifting and came up with the idea). If civilians off the streets in the middle east could plan the attacks of the twin towers on september 11, 2001 that makes me wonder what their government can plan, what the chinese can plan " Pearl Harbor", or any other country with an army large or small.
I'm prepared for 30 days depending on no one. Thats solid. I have supplies for longer than that, things like water and fuel, no....
For me the most likely scenarios would be some type of natural disaster or Financial meltdown that causes widespread panic and civil disobedience.
Some years ago while I was still operating my little repair shop here in Bailey, I had 3 customers who all worked for Martin Marietta, different divisions, and they didn't know each other. After getting to know them I discovered they each had serious fallout shelters built on thier properties, one even included a 5000 gallon water storage/filtration system. On guy drove his 3/4 ton 4x4 truck with pop-up camper EVERYWHERE, and it was loaded down with all kinds of supplies, several thousand rounds for his AK, generator with fuel, you name it. When I asked them who/what they were afraid of I got the SAME answer from all 3, "nothing on THIS planet".
When all the beer runs out. That's when I will spring into action.

If your post count is higher than your round count, you are a troll.
I'm currently staying home every day until RTD decides to stop wrecking into people/things every two or three days.
I find in life things happen that I didn't even come close to predicting.
To ask may be but a moment's shame, not to ask and remain ignorant is a lifelong shame.
