I passed through there twice today. Got a nasty chip in my windshield on the way up and got another one on the way back.

Pretty sure I wasn't shot at. Just seems like there was a fair amount of rocks or gravel through that stretch of highway.

Interesting story: About seven years ago my fiance (now wife) was driving her parents Suburban on that stretch of I-25 (southbound). I was following, her driver's side window suddenly shattered. She pulled over and we never really gave it much thought. I'm still sure it was just a rock or something.

We booth looked at each other when this story came on the news.

I had my window shot out once driving down West Colfax when I was about 16-18. Probably just a pellet gun though.

Mystery shootings in northern Colorado have prompted concern that a serial attacker may be targeting highway drivers, police said.
The worst incident occurred late Wednesday on Interstate 25 when a female driver was shot through the neck in Larimer County, authorities said.
"I'm on the highway right now and somebody just hit me and I'm bleeding from the neck and I'm scared," the unidentified woman told a 911 dispatcher, according to ABC News.

In all, there have four incidents in three days on or near I-25, a main north-south highway in Colorado.

After four attacks centered on a northern Colorado highway within three days, authorities are concerned a serial shooter may be on the loose.
Police are trying to determine whether the incidents in Larimer and Weld counties are linked, the most severe of which was Wednesday, when a woman was shot in the neck.
The 20-year-old woman was driving alone on Interstate 25 in Larimer County late Wednesday night 25 when she was shot and the front driver's side window of her car shattered, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said.
