Lex_Luthor. - great response you have there. I have a small tat that I got in Fort Riley, KS almost 59 years ago. Although the old carcas had repositioned somewhat, the tat still does not droop. Yeah, I am a badass GREAT Grampa now.

I'm due for more ink soon. Even figured out what I want. Now I just need to find the right artist to do it.

Oh, and I guess I need to get a little time off to get that done.

Well aren't you a special snowflake.

I'd get one but it looks like it would hurt.

Really nice, Mike! There was a guy at California Tattoos outside of Gate 7 at Keesler AFB that specialized in tats with koi and various water styles. There was a name for the style, but I can't remember it. There's just something about koi and water tattoos.... really nice.

I miss ocean and water creatures... had a lil fish pond back home (Guam) my Grandparents built and the tatt(s) remind me of it a little...

Thank you! All I know with the style is it's Japanese, but there are stories from different countries with koi's... and how they are positioned. Koi face down means humbled... Koi face up means still trying to achieve goal(s).... in China... there is a story of a Koi that swam up this hardcore river... finally making it all the way upstream it turned to a golden dragon. So many things to go with it... which explains why I chose to have two koi's... with enough $$$$ I'd probably do a half body with the Chinese story.
