    I was getting charged by the hour, but there were a lot a lot of free hours given. Really cool guy! A set goal for the day... and he won't stop till that goal was done.
    1 day we did a straight 5 or 6 hour session (which I paid for a 3 hour session) with just 2 10 min breaks (I needed to pee, lol!).
    I would say... if you build a pretty good bond with your Tattoo artist... I think they'll take care of you.
