But technically my last purchase was.....

some bastardized form of a Merkel Phönix Tropen camera. Zeiss Ikon lens and housing with an Ica nameplate but the rest is pure Merkel (no idea if he was related to the Merkel firearm family). Waiting on information from the one expert in the world who can tell me whether the bastardization makes it more valuable than a regular Phönix or less.

S&W 625-3, .45acp, born Nov. 1984. The .45 is my favorite caliber, my older son has an original S&W Model 1917 and I've wanted a .45 wheelie for a long time to compliment my 1911s, glad I found this one. Got a nice Hogue wood grip on the way to replace the ugly assed Pachmayr.

The previous owner apparently didn't know how to take care of the gun. Stripped it down and it was all kinds of dirty and grimy. After a couple of hours it's is in much better shape than when I got it

    Default New Carry

Just picked these up Friday. The Glock 43, a Streamlight TLR6 with a laser and the new TruGlo TFX's. Looks to be my new carry, just need to build a new holster.

The LGS also had a Colt 1911-22 FDE Rail Gun the newer one built by Walther after Umarex. Same weight as my 45's, thought it would be fun to play with.

Very nice! Let us know how you like that TLR-6, may consider it for my 43. Did you pick it up locally?

Finally found time to go pick it up. Mossberg 500 flex and the compact stock for a shorter LOP to fit the minions.

Thurdsday and Friday was Glock days at Neve's. They had the TLR6 for $89, but I think they were out by the time I left. They also sold 225 Glock 43's by noon Friday, first come first served. I'll let you know how the TLR works out.
