Field of Dreams is my all time favorite film.

I visited the field in Iowa last summer, a very surreal experience.

You grew up in Dyersville or just in Iowa?

I grew up not far from Dyersville. And we went there at least once or twice a year for "field trips" all throughout grade school. I assume you went to the Ertl store as well?

No, I actually made a dedicated trip to the FoD while on a trip- just wanted to be there.

I know it sounds stupid, but it was important to me to go visit.

Not stupid at all. Im glad you enjoyed it. Its like when I moved to Colorado I was amazed at the mountains and sat on my deck every night looking at them in awe for the first year or so I lived here. Now I rarely notice them.

Just finished watching Brooklyn's Finest. Wasn't a terrible movie, but I'm glad I didn't have to pay to see it.
