There were two USPSA divisions back in the day. Open/Unlimited and Limited/Tactical. There was a Carry gun division for a while but it never took off. Actually there was one division for a long time. Just a heads up shooting match. Pick your poison and shoot it.

Production came out about 15 years ago and single stack has been around for a while also.

IDPA and IPSC are both good ways to get better at shooting under stress. Neither can replace actual training and neither should be viewed as real world training.

That's just mean. You might be fast enough to make up for all the penalties but most of us are not.

Especially now that rule has changed from only one penalty per no shoot to each hit on no shoot.

    Damn things are like magnets.

I'm sure I'll use it next time I'm in Hawaii, probably do videos on our ATV rides up in the mountains, strap it to the motorcycle from time to time, and probably do some video in a couple of weeks when my brother is going to be around playing a gig with Jimmy Vaughn up at Copper Mountain.
I still need to do some research on which one to get, but I also have multiple uses for the little gizmo.

    I liked it, just sayin.

That's really cool, thanks. I was a little bit freaked out the first time I did it, I think that could really help some folks who are looking to get into it. I also understand your time is just as important to you. Lets see how many folks chime in about it I suppose?

I was asked a question from Saturday however, and I'll ask it here now. I think it was stage 5 when the wind was blowing shit all over the place? Mags on one barrel, weapon on other barrel. Begin the stage *kneeling*. If a five foot tall individual knelt at that stage, they couldn't see over the top at all....would the shooter then have to go around the sides of the barrel per kneeling start spec, or could they have stand/crouched for over the top target acquisition? I know there was a child there who was about that tall, how did he start that stage?

    Thanks

I also had the benefit of having Lobo spend some time with me and explain a bunch of stuff ahead of time, so, thanks again for that...Lobo.

    I still appreciate it.

    Short people got no reason......

to worry, we can make accommodations. As long a cover rules are followed (all lower and 50% upper), crouch, squat, kneel on platform, stand if short enough, all ok.
