Or, just about any major SHTF scenario; what an idiot, although these people remind me of typical suburbia stupidity. Although, they doubled down on the dysfunction which I find annoying...no need for all the BS drama. Even if the characters are somewhat ridiculous and at times annoying, watching the SHTF scenario unfold is interesting.

    Spoiler alert...

They'll all be OK now. The government is there to protect them.

I was a bit suprised by that and it seems a bit silly that hundreds (probably thousands) of Army troops in armored vehicles would be sweeping through suburbia while downtown must be burning

Alright, can we just add "SPOILER ALERT" to the thread title?

Why waste resources on something that's already lost. If a dam breaks you don't go towards the break looking for people to save. You focus on areas that have a higher number of lives to save.

Besides they were told by a few cops with abnormally heavy loads in the trunk, the city was lost.

I don't really understand why they don't talk to their neighbors either... Why is "bugging out to the desert" all the rage? That sounds like a sure way to die an uncomfortable death.

Several times, they have made contact with their [non-zombie] neighbors, but made no effort to talk to them, work together, protect each other, etc. Talking to the neighbors would have been the FIRST thing we did in our Colorado Springs neighborhood. Here in CA, neighbors basically act like the characters in the show. yuck.

I don't talk to my neighbors. Don't really care for them much. And I'd definitely be heading for a very less populated area.

Ditto... none of my neighbors in the immediate vicinity are worth a damn. I know a dozen to 15 great friends and family members within a mile or two, but they're not my immediate neighbors... They simply say hello in passing, and nothing more.
