Old Chicagos but don't get a beer tour card, it will drain your wallet quick.

Default Best pizza NW metro area?

Marcos is pretty good. Also there is a Rosatis on 136th in Broomfield in the center with King Soopers by Legacy HS

Yeah, Old C's is average at best.

The only pizza we've had in Denver was Mici downtown. I'm not much help past that.

The one in Thornton originally opened as a partner to the one in Brighton, but they must have had a falling out because the name changed. It's on the northwest corner of 136th and Colorado behind the O'reileys.

My favorite pizza ever is Protos, they have a few locations, down by rei downtown, by the Broomfield events center, and in layfaette. The proto pie, dipped in balsamic vinegar is the best thing ever.

You hit the new[er] place up off or near 8th ave yet? Supposedly around the court house / old downtown area

I've been to Protos, it was very good. I tried Costco pizza the other day, just a slice, it was terrible.

We haven't. We normally go to Santerramos if we're over there and in the mood for pizza.

For someone who has eaten their fair share of NYC pizza and knows the round trip mileage for you, "No." If however, you find yourself in the Broomfield area, the pizza is better than the average Colorado fare, IMO.
