Hillary Testifies on Benghazi

Admittedly, I have not followed this very closely from day one but it seems to me with her being responsible for this overall situation, her saying that she did not know about the requests for more security is not an excuse that excludes her from responsibility of dead Americans. This happened on her watch, her people could not defend themselves and they realized this. They asked for more security and were ignored by Hillary's staff back in DC. I don't believe for a second that she was unaware of an escalating security threat, but even if she was not aware, she is guilty of running an operation with a deadly dangerous process that resulted in the deaths of Americans.

She basically prevented these Americans from being able to defend themselves properly when the guys in Benghazi knew there was an escalating threat... Now this same failed line of thinking wants to orchestrate some sort of gun confiscation program here in the States as President. Hand in your guns, don't worry, Hillary will protect you!!

Feel free to correct me if I have some things wrong here... That actually might make us better off.

This may be like comparing apples and oranges, but by the logic you use here (and I don't disagree one bit), the heads of the FAA's security pre-9/11 should be just as culpable as Hillary. They ignored the warnings from the Red Teams that there were vulnerabilities in security that would allow an attack to take place, and chose to ignore. Just like Hillary ignored the warnings from those on the ground, in the know, that stated security was a big issue. My hope is that something comes out of this that ends her presidential run, but in reality, I'm willing to bet nothing severe will come down on her. I really hope Michael Bay's new Benghazi movie coming out next year plays to the lack of leadership on her part, but I'm not holding my breath.

I can see the argument but I don't recall the security in Portland Maine calling the FAA and telling them "stop flying planes because some bad guys just flew out of here and are coming your way" and then the FAA ignoring the warning. I think lax immigration/visitation policies were a far larger contributor to 9/11 than anything airport security related but that is another topic.

The thing that gets me is Hillary or her staff at minimum ignored the calls from Benghazi saying that bad things are about to happen. Who got that call and why didn't they send it up the ladder? Or did they send it up the ladder and she told them "its not in the budget to send any more help, figure it out on your own".

I keep coming back to her gun control desires. She is trying to convince the public that the government will take care of you and you don't need guns, yet she is a glaring example of why YOU are responsible for YOUR own protection when the shit hits the fan.

Without going off topic into that, watch "Please Remove Your Shoes" documentary, it shows the FAA higher ups and their vast incompetence which was a major contributing factor (but not the sole factor) in 9/11. And I'm in no way disagreeing with you on the immigration/visitation policies being another major contributor.

I'm expecting the same historical accuracy as his Pearl Harbor movie. The only thing he got right is that there was a place named Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. So...there's a place called Benghazi...blah, blah, blah.
