I would venture that it avoids the typical forum vs forum bashing that can occur when an idiot or two takes things too seriously.

I don't have any desire to check out that site....I've heard enough about it way before this thread showed up.
I'm happy to call this place home, great folks that I've met and helped......folks here that have also helped me a lot.

Not to promote another site, but I've gotten some good info from http://www.m4carbine.net/forum.php without all of the unnecessary fanfare associated with that other site.
Of course this site is my first resource for useful AR related info.
