Six and twelve inch diamonds are pretty common. But there is no standard. Past 800-1,000 the target size gets up to 18x18 -18x24.

In Pueblo we shoot everything from 10 inch IPSC targets to 2x3 squares.

Thanks, I just wasn't sure. I guess size is individually dependent on use. This `18 inch 2"12 inch thick beast is at the 500 Meter line on CRC's Metallic Silhouette range. Presumably to mimic the vitals zone of an animal at that range. I was surprised to see the cratered face of the steel however I thought you wanted to keep them smooth faced for safety concerns.

My experience is that at 500 yards on a swinging target you arent going to get alot of dangerous splash back. (to shooters on the line)
I wonder how much steel core ammo shot that?
Their 18 inch 500 Meter (547 Yards), 16 inch 385 Meter, 13 inch 300 Meter, and 13 inch 200 Meter look similar. Pictures of those are in my last post of my Hunting rifle sight in thread here. https://www.ar-15.co/threads/152454-...ench-anyway%29

Yeah that chunk of steel isn't AR-500. Just thick mild steel.
