Reminds me of a sci-fi book The Mote in God's Eye by Larry Niven.

There was an alien race that could not control their population (biologically they had to mate or suffer a painful death) so they were a major threat to Earth (they needed our resources to feed their population)

Idiocracy 2. We could totally crowd fund that shit. Hired actors would be cheap with the stoners in this State. Would have some slight variations though. As the muslim call to prayer played over the wal-mart intercom, and the Cartel is blaring vato music from the other end of the super-store, the elderly american main character, ignorant of the conflict and socially incapable of talking with another human, would quote "Go way!
