I have been told the last unaltered release (for home) was 1986 laserdisc. I have the DVD set and they are ridiculous.
You might be interested in the "Harmy despecialized editions"

When I finally get around to watching the new one I thought I'd first re-watch the old ones in the "Machete order" which is; IV, V, skip I (Jar Jar and CSPANesque debates) and treat II, III as a flashback, then VI-Return of the Jedi, as the finale.

Funny you mentioned that movie. We were just talking about it the other night. I believe it might be the only Disney movie never released for sale.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

Not positive, I think it was, but it was pulled.
I borrowed a DVD copy of it from a buddy years ago. No idea how he got it, but it definitely isn't a camcorder taping TV.
It was NOT a commercial copy, so I suspect someone burned it from a VHS long ago.

    Edit: Still have a VHS?

If only I had a time machine.

For me it's like trying to forget I ate a shit sandwich and then eat the same shit sandwich again. So I don't think they order will help. Skipping Ep 1 is solid advice. Unless you have kids who like JarJar Binks and pod racing.
