    Default F is for Family

Bill Burr has a new show on Netflix called F is for Family. It's available today.
It is an animated show set in the 1970's. He said the father in the show is just based on his and everyone else's father growing up. I've watched most of the first episode and I like it so far.
I like Bill Burr a lot though. Just because it's animated, doesn't mean it's for kids. Swearing and adult topics. Pretty funny, and I suspect will be a little more relate able for those that were actually alive in the 1970's.

"Anything bad happens to her, and I will..." That was the best line of it all!

Not sure I agree with the misogynistic overtones, but that was also a product of the times. Let us know how it unfolds.
    My Feedback

"When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law." -Frederic Bastiat

"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."

That bothers you? Men worked, women stayed home end of story. Now women work, their partners are artificially inseminated so they can both have kids. win-win.
Back then a child molester was dealt with in very unpc terms, lucky to get out of town before not being able to.
Today society coddles them, feels they can be treated with rainbows and counseling

What bothers me is when men objectify women.

It's a show about that time period. As far as that line at the end you mentioned. Bill Burr was talking about his show with Joe Rogan on Rogan's podcast. Bill said that's what his dad always told him. Joe chimed in with something similar that his mom used to always say; "I'll break your f'ing legs!" That's a good pod cast.

I remember hearing an interview that he originally pitched this as live action but no one would go for it. We can only stomach this stuff if it's cartoons apparently.

Eh. If I want to watch a show to remind me of what life was like in the 70's I'll just watch "All In The Family" instead.
