    I haven't really played with cryo or meta-lax treated barrels. As I understand them Cryo barrels are frozen to extreme temps to realign the crystallin matrix of the steel to make it more consistent and relieve any stressors in the material. Meta-lax relieves stressors via harmonic vibrations. Considering the quality one can get without either of these treatments, it's hard to justify the expense, especially on an AR barrel.
