Tell them you're a native and just now found out about them from a local representative.

This is what happens when you have mass immigration of tens of millions of people who vote and support big goverment. Let that state be a reminder of what happens when leftist have permanent majority.

Are we still talking about CA, or did we shift to CO?
Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

Yes, years ago. Along those lines but I'm thinking more pervasive.

That might work. I think they are just tired of people from the free world reminding them of their sorry situation.

    So sadly true...

I just asked because I'm about 1/2 way through it and I can't help but see the abundant parallels between fact and fiction everywhere I look. I knew it was bad, but the book is a real eye-opener.

I am still on their list and I forward emails to friends and family in CA even though I am in CO. I try to support them as well as I can. It just keeps getting more and more crazy out there, something has to give soon, there can't be that many sheeple that will just roll over to the cartels.

I lurk on Calguns quite a bit. I think it's a pretty well organized and run forum. I'm glad I don't have to put up with what they go through to exercise my rights. A moderator on another forum posed the question, "Why do the efforts of gun rights advocacy groups meet so much resistance/futility?"

It was written by Rand who lived through the "radical transformation" we are seeing the US. Liberals, despite the name and the high opinion they have of themselves, offer nothing new or progressive. It's been tried and failed several times.

Their success at this point lies in producers being beaten all the time and hoodwinked into thinking they must stay in the system and continue producing on the collective's terms. That's just not true.

If producers withdrew it would force the collective to either make an overt claim on human beings (slavery) or honor free will (freedom) and individual rights.

So imagine if cattle ranchers stopped brining beef to market?

As in Atlas Shrugged, I would love to see this happen. Right now. Today. Before my kids have to grow up in a worthless society.
