It is getting so crazy now, I just got off shift with a FTO office who is in the 39th year of service. She said back in the day she never thought about people trying to kill her, Now it is the 1st thought on every call........

I cannot believe how many people get upset when you pat them down or ask them to keep their hands out of their pockets or stand at a certain place for safety and the first thing they say is, "I'm not gonna hurt you." Like I know you. Women do it a lot and parents get upset when we do it to teens all the time.

I'll also point out in this thread that if anyone chooses to donate to any officer funeral or family make sure the source you are donating to is verified and legitimate. There have been lots of scammers taking advantage of that too, especially on the Go Fund Me sites.

While true, as a teen I was on the receiving end of a westy lady giving me 20 questions in 5 degree weather in a parking lot and my glove less hands were freezing.
